Plot summary:Director Roberto Cuzillo examines the plight of homosexual couples seeking to have children from a cycle-of-life standpoint in this compassionate drama centering on the experiences of a lesbian couple seeking to skirt Italian laws that prohibit them from starting a family of their own. Guilia (Cristina Serafini) and Chiara (Irene Ivaldi) are a committed couple in a long-term relationship. Though they long to start a family like anyone other loving couple in their position, Italian law dictates that only heterosexual couples are permitted to procreate by means of artificial insemination.
